Voice automation

An AI voice agent for Indian languages, built to actually pick up.

An AI receptionist for India that listens, understands, and speaks back in the caller's own language, handling bookings, questions, and status checks before handing off what needs a person.

Try it first

Speak to a working agent right now.

No sign-up, no phone number. Pick a language and a scenario, tap to talk, and hear the agent answer back in your browser.

What it does

Voice AI built for real conversations, not scripts.

  • Understands natural speech in ten Indian languages and replies in the same language.
  • Answers questions about appointments, orders, or services from the systems you connect it to.
  • Books, reschedules, or looks up records when you have granted it that specific action.
  • Hands off to a human the moment a call needs judgment, approval, or data it cannot access.

How it works

From a scoped agent to a live conversation.

01

Listen

Speech is transcribed to text in the caller's chosen language as they talk.

02

Understand

The agent works from a scope you define: what it can answer, book, or look up.

03

Act

It answers directly, takes a permitted action, or flags the call for a human.

04

Speak

The reply is spoken back in the same language, with the exchange logged.

Controls that stay in place

Permissions, review, and an audit trail.

  • Scoped permissions: the agent only takes the specific actions and reads the specific data you connect it to.
  • Human review: calls that need judgment or missing access are routed to a person, with the conversation attached.
  • Audit trail: every call and action is logged, so you can see exactly what the agent did and said.

Browser vs. phone deployment

What competitors gloss over.

Browser-based agent. The live demo and browser-based deployments need no telecom registration at all. This is the fastest way to see and pilot the agent.

Automated phone calls. Placing automated calls to Indian phone numbers is different. It requires DLT principal-entity registration, header and template registration, and use of the correct numbering series. TRAI has been actively disconnecting unregistered numbers, so this is a real prerequisite, not paperwork you can skip. Regulations change, so confirm current requirements before committing to a rollout date.

Languages

Ten languages, tested live.

The live demo speaks and listens in all ten languages Synkya supports for Indian deployments. Switch languages mid-conversation to hear the difference.

FAQ

Questions about the voice agent.

01Is this an AI receptionist for phone calls, or a browser demo?

Both are possible. The live demo runs entirely in your browser so you can try it with no setup. A production deployment can run the same agent logic over a phone line, but phone deployment has its own registration requirements, covered below.

02Which Indian languages does the voice agent support?

Ten languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, and Punjabi. Try switching languages mid-conversation on the live demo.

03Do I need telecom registration to use a voice agent?

A browser-based agent, like the one in the demo, needs no telecom registration at all. Placing automated calls to Indian phone numbers is different: it requires DLT principal-entity registration, header and template registration, and the correct numbering series. TRAI has been actively disconnecting unregistered numbers, so this is not optional for phone deployments.

04Can the voice agent access my scheduling or CRM system?

Only the systems and actions you explicitly connect and scope. Booking, rescheduling, or looking up a record are agent actions we configure against your systems, not a general capability it invents on its own.

05What happens if a caller asks something the agent cannot handle?

It says so plainly and hands off to a human, with the conversation context attached. You define what gets escalated and to whom before the agent goes live.
